I am also a member of the Maryland Camaro Club. It's a great club with about 130 members. It always has a good showing at the Camaro Nationals and is the host club there. One final note of interest: Jerry MacNeish (nationally known expert on 1st generation Camaros) is a member of the MD Camaro Club.

Maybe I'll have to give them a look. What are the membership fees, and do they have a website?

There is an annual membership fee, but I can't remember the amount, ten or twenty dollars.

The head of the judging for the Camaro Nationals will be in attendance at the next MD Camaro Club meeting on Saturday, March 8 in Clarksville, MD. Clarksville is about 1.5 hours from Martinsburg. If anyone is interested in attending, let me know and I will post directions. The only warning is that there will be standing room only, so you should plan to arrive about 1/2 hour early.
I also heard at the last meeting that a large contingent of Camaro owners from Canada is expected at the Nationals.

I may be interested, Jim, provided I don't have to work.

Dan et al,
Here are the directions to the MD Camaro Club meeting:
1. From Martinsburg, take I-81 North.
2. In Hagerstown, take I-70 East toward Frederick/Baltimore
3. Continue through Frederick and east toward Baltimore to Exit 80, Route 32.
4. Take Route 32 south (bear right on exit ramp) to exit at Route 108, Clarksville.
5. Take the Route 108 exit and, at the traffic light on the exit ramp, turn left.
6. At the second traffic light, Auto Drive, turn left.
7. Win Kelly Chevrolet is on the right hand side.
8. The meeting takes place in the conference room on the second floor. (Ask anyone in the showroom how to get to the club meeting.)
The address for Win Kelly Chevrolet is 12421 Auto Dr, Clarksville, MD 21029. Travel time will be about 1.5 hours. Many club members usually gather for lunch after the meeting at a nearby pizza restaurant.

Thanks for the post, John. Does one have to be part of the Camaro club, or can anyone attend?

Anyone can attend the meeting. In fact, I announced the formation of the EPCA at one of the meetings and the President extended an open invitation for any of us to join them at their meetings. I am beginning to see "coalitions" of clubs from different areas getting together for joint shows, etc. Last weekend, there was a gentleman from a Virginia-based club that came to the MD meeting.

Sounds good. Is there an admission price or anything?

I'm going to try to make it John, but it will depend on how much studying I will have for school. If I can't make it...than I appoint you as the EPCA representative Dan

haha

Dan,
Yes, there is a $25.00 fee for attending. You can pay me directly...
Just kidding. No, meetings are free.
If you do plan to go, let me know. I never know what my schedule is going to be, but I will try to attend if I can.
Best,
John
