Paint and yardwork Partaay!

Postby tmurph01 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 8:05 am

This Thursday I have to be back at the house the whole day waiting for the utility people to come and hook up the phone, internet, direct tv, and clean the furnace.

Since I will be there the entire day, does anyone want to come back and help do some little jobs that I haven't really had a chance to do since I have been working on bigger problems? Hopefully I can get to where I can start moving in this coming weekend.

List includes:
-Scrape and paint the porch
-Clean the leaves out of the garage
-Tear old dead vines off of the fence
-Finish powerwashing front and side

I will provide food and drinks, as well as gloves and all tools/supplies needed and of course good conversation!

Travis,

Wish I could help, but some of us have to work for a living!

John,
That is understandable. I just happen to be on shift now, so I work 3 12-hour days one week and four 12-hour days the next, so I have thursday thru sunday off this week.

I didn't expect anyone to be able to help, but I threw it out there anyway.

Actually, I would welcome that kind of work week. I really like the idea of long weekends.
