There were some really nice cars there; much more than what you'd see at a Frederick show.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to hang out a little bit more, but with so much to see, and then running for the car as soon as the rain hit....well, nobody wants to get wet. Very Happy It was a good thing that I took the STi and not the Camaro, because there isn't any a/c in it, plus the rain was so intense that I just couldn't go wrong with AWD in those conditions. Not to mention, the Camaro's just looking like crap.

You should see how busy the place is when there isn't a storm brewing. This was the first time we've been up this year, but I know there have been close to 200 cars in the past, if not more.

My wife really wanted to bring the cars up last night, but I just really had a bad feeling I was going to regret it. Her car has working A/C and wipers...we all know about mine. There were some nice cars out there, and it was nice to meet a couple members I had missed in the past.

Hey Did anyone get the plate of that dude in the Red SS?? I hear there is a reward for any information. LOL. I guess they don't like open exhaust and black marks at the mall.

I thought about bringing the Camaro, but in the end, I was just really hot yesterday and didn't want to deal with sitting in a car while it was 90+ degrees outside.

While I was at AAP there was a guy there that knew his way around cars pretty good, and we refilled my a/c system and injected that neon dye that shows leaks. The system doesn't have any leaks, so that's a plus. The problem is that the compressor isn't kicking over. I don't think it's hooked up, because I remember the engine builder saying something about the a/c system.

Does anyone know how to connect a compressor? It's a good chance that this is my problem. Once I have a/c in the Camaro, I'll be happy. Smile

There is just so much work I need to do to that car that sometimes I just feel overwhelmed. I need the headliner/sun visor and seats reupholstered, I could use a new carpet, a new dashpad (mine is cracked), some power window mirrors that aren't dying, a front fender, a front clip, fog lights, shocks/struts, swaybars, bushings, exhaust tips, and a paint job.

....And then there are the other things that I don't really need, but need. I need a new rear (my 10 bolt is weak), gears, high-rise intake, 52mm throttlebody, supercharger/turbo setup, cowl hood, rear spoiler, lower control arms, panhard rod, subframe connectors, and wheels/tires.

It's probably going to cost me at least $10,000-$15,000 to finish this car. Shocked

It depends on how much the reward is on whether I'd snitch. Razz
