My new Camaro

Postby Mddhattr » Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:57 am

My buddy from kearneysville just fifnished my Camaro. I planned to bring it to the Ponycar Showdown but forgot it.

It's got a ton (ok in it's size) a pound of custom work done to it.

it started out a hatchback with T-tops and he cut the roof. Made the back trunk lid. Tonneau cover and rear deck spoiler.

When detailing the dash he even painted the tach in white, yellow and red. Way too anal for me.

New camaro

Postby Mddhattr » Mon Jun 02, 2008 6:49 am

Well, he did it as an experiment. He and his friend are really only interested in doing 1/64 sized big truck models. I think they have a couple of Ebay (or did last week). I can't believe how much they get for the things. well, I should. I've seen them take two trucks, extend the frame on one and put the bed or tanker, on the newly extended one. I just can't imagine working in that small of detail.
