My babies...

Postby jmcbeth » Wed Nov 28, 2007 11:32 pm

The first one is for show: 1969 Camaro Z/28 RS. Garnet Red w/ Black Stripes, black vinyl roof, black interior. All matching numbers, frame off restoration in 2003. Mostly a trailer queen, although I drive it occasionally.

The second one is my driver: undocumented, non-numbers matching 1969 Camaro Z/28 RS. Dover White w/ Hugger Orange Stripes, white interior. Has a CE replacement 302 (Non-DZ), 2.02 heads, high rise Edelbrock intake, electronic ignition, headers, Flowmasters, and Muncie M20 tranny. Blast to drive, but I am thinking about a frame off restoration. Mostly original, except it was repainted about 20 years ago. It even has the original ball joints!

Have you shown your Cars at the Valley Mall's Cruis'n before? There was one there and I have a pic of it on my computer. If it was you...AMAZING CAR!!! Definately one of my favorites over there.

No, I didn't even know there was a cruise in at the Valley Mall on Saturday nights. I did attend one show at the Valley Mall about a month ago. It was sponsored by the Journal and it was on a Sunday afternoon. I Happened to be in town getting gas when someone asked me if I was going to the show. (I didn't even know there was a show.) So, I went for a while.

I did see a whole row of 4th gens, but didn'et get to meet any owners.

Hearing about upcoming events is only one of many benefits of a club.

Hopefully, you will like mine too!

Haha..That row of fourth gens was me and my friends and the beginning of E.P.C.A.. It was then and there that I decided to start a club, and a week later E.P.C.A. was formed.

I had a feeling that might be one or more of the members of this club. Small world...

Sounds like you have some awesome cars!

A guy came into the store I work at yesterday and had a 1969 Camaro with a 427ci and a 4-spd manual. Must be nice.

Thanks.

Yes, a 427 would be nice. Was it a Yenko?

No, he didn't have it with him. He was just talking about it. I don't believe it was anything with any type of history behind it like a Yenko; maybe just a swap.
