Hello from HAV2DO

Postby HAV2DO » Fri Aug 21, 2009 8:27 pm

Found your forum through a gen 5 site. I have always been a car nut, but early on, life got in the way. Had some nice ones when I was young, but I had to endure the years of the Buicks and Suburbans. Since I am fast approaching the rocking chair state, I convinced the other half that it was time for one more nice ride (while I was still able to get in the d*** thing).

Found a 01 Black SLP SS with T-tops and made my move. From time to time I see a 00-02 black maro on Rt 11 near my home (usually heading north). Wondering if it is anyone here. It has the horizontal chrome insert and no front plate.

Glad I found this site. I have been looking for somewhere to go and "strut my stuff". Car still needs some cosmetic work (powertrain will remain stock), but I love it. The cosmetics are being addressed.

My handle comes from the fact that if I had lots of money, I would buy another 70 AAR Cuda. Since I don't, the Camaro will have to do. No complaints from me though.

Welcome to the forum! Which part of rt. 11 have you been seeing the black 4th gen? Make sure to post a pic of your ride!

As Paul stated above, we are having a picnic and would love to see you come out.

Usually see the gen 4 on 11 near Stephenson/Clear Brook.

I'm rather a novice at forums. Tried it a minute ago and failed horribly. Resized the pic to 2 mb, but the image uploading software keeps giving me an error. Any suggestions? :(

Post people upload their phoso to a site called photobucket.com. one you do this, you can get a link to paste thephotos on forum. Photobucket is a free photo hosting forum.

I'm prettybad t explaining this, so maybe Tyler or Steve will jump in.

I'm not sure ifyouweredirected to our forum directly or through our website, but if you have not visited our website, I suggestyou check it out.

I'm trying this again. the FAQ page states you can't post pics directly to the forum, so I'm attempting a link to photobucket.

I have seen guys on this site with posts that show pics. Wonder how? :?

There are two ways I post pictures here. I start by opening two tabs. One with this forum and the second with photobucket, etc. (Wherever I'm getting the picture). On photobucket you need to hover the mouse over the picture you want to insert. It will bring up a drop menu box. Go to the IMG code selection. Left click on the box to highlight the img link. then right click once it's highlighted select copy then go back to the EPCA forum and paste the link.

If you have a direct link without the [/img][img] inserted for you you can still do the same as before but before you paste the link to the forum click the img button above the text box. Then paste the link, then hit the img button again.
