SUPERNOVA,
Glad you stopped by this site! Just in case you are bored, the EPCA is having a meeting this coming Saturday at 2 PM at Apple Valley Chevrolet in Martinsburg, WV at 2 PM. It's about 1/2 hour from Hagerstown. Take I-81 south, then take the King Street Exit. Turn left at the traffic light, then right at the next light. Apple Valley is on the left.
Would like to meet you.
By the way, that's not a stock hood on the 4th gen is it? Looks more like a Firebird hood. Where did you get it? It makes the car look even meaner.
Best,
John

Correct John, that is an aftermarket hood, commonly called the "Stinger Hood". If I am right, it was made popular by Corvettes during the 70's.

something like that, its a fiberglass , took a lot of hours of work to get it to fit and look as good as it does, sanded, wet sanded, filled , sanded ,wet sanded several times to get any wrinkles and flaws out of it, still had to put hood pins in it to pull one corner down to where I wanted it. Turned out real good tho. thanks. Yes it was made popular with the earlier vettes.
