I know it's short notice, I completely forgot about it until tonight, but the USMCF is hosting is Bash at the Bridge car show in Capon Bridge WV this Saturday, July 12th. We missed the Pony Car showdown because of the weather, but I'm going to try and make this one. Info is as follows:

The 6th Annual Bash at the Bridge hosted by the United States Muscle Car Federation features judged classes of the areas finest show cars, trucks, and motorcycles with awards being presented to 1st, and 2nd in each. The large grass show field features plenty of room for show vehicles, trailers, etc. as well as a large covered pavilion with picnic tables and clean indoor restrooms.
This years event will feature a model car and truck show featuring 4 classes of model cars; Adult/Teen Advanced (13-up) 1:18 - Larger Scale, 1:24 - Smaller Scale, Preteen/Child: Prodigy, Beginner. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be awarded in all classes and participation awards given in the Prodigy and Beginner classes. Also for the kids is a miniature car show. We ask that all kids coming to the event bring your favorite Matchbox /Hot Wheels/Johnny Lightning car with you to the show for your entry. Prizes will be given. All Children will receive a special goody bag and will also have chances to win prizes and awards, including a Grand Prize drawing.

First 100 Arriving the Day of the Show receive the Bash at the Bridge Dash Plaque

First 100 Fords Receive the 100th Anniversary Model T Dash Plaque

Entry Fee: By Donation*
*ALL proceeds are given to the Timbrook Scholarship Fund.

I always wanted to make that one. I think it will bring out a different group of vehicles than you see in "our" area. Unfortunately we have a family re-union at Cowens Gap this weekend.

i would really like to make it but the camaros all dented up i might be able to talk my friend in to takeing his iroc z out 4 the day who alls comming?

Steve,

Thanks for posting this show. I have been looking for a show to attend with my son-in-law, who is in town this week. We are considering taking both of my '69 Zs. The weather report is great.

Any advice on time to arrive at the show?

I usually don't arrive until about 11 - 11:30 or so, but that's because I don't get off work until 7am and I need time to get the cars ready. It does look like a beautiful weekend but it looks we won't be able to make it to the show.
